I stayed here for one night way back in 2006 with my mate Nathan and we loved it.

My wife and I stayed at the Mercure Sydney airport on 4/2/2012 and checked out 5/2/2012. We were assisted by Oui on our arrival and were upgraded to superior room which was very much appreciated. I liked the relaxed feel upon entering the hotel and the
friendly interaction with Oui. I requested a room on a high floor and this was done, thank you! The room more than met our expectations, I was really impressed with the see through mini fridge and drawer where tea/coffee was kept. The bed was quite comfortable
and the a/c worked well particularly when the room was very hot upon entry. Everything that we needed was supplied and the information on various brochures was great. The only issues we had were the following - we were around the corner from the elevator and
at 11.20pm trying to get to sleep when a group of young men were talking loudly in the corridor. They were there for a fair amount of time and I had to approach them to ask them to quieten down. I know this is difficult for the hotel to correct but very unsettling
as other noisey guests did the same during the early hours. We were not aware we could have a 2pm checkout on sunday, not told this on checkin and would have been nice to stay in bed to compensate for the wakeful night. We did appreciate having the extra time
there and put it to good use at the pool as it was a warm morning. We asked to have the pool cleaned (although it looked very clean there were bugs on water surface). One employee came around, had a quick glance at the pool and left, didn't speak to us. We
had to ring again to request pool to be scooped (would have done it myself as we have a pool at home). A man came around and he spend 20 mins looking for the scoop net before a lady came to help him and he did a great job. We asked for assistance on a couple
of minor matters (thank you for the newspaper!) and also for a plastic bag for my wife's wet swimsuit and this was greatly appreciated. Apart from the disrupted sleep, we enjoyed our stay at your premises. Thank you.

Thank you to all the team at Mercure Sydney Airport for a wonderful experience. Due to Airline industrial action I had an un-planned stopover last Thursday night and arrived feeling frustrated at missing my connecting flight. However your friendly service
and comfortable room soon relaxed me and I ended up having a wonderful night in your Bradleys Bar. The entertainer was fantastic and got everyone involved ensuring we all left feeling happy. I had a great nights sleep (though too brief) and left the following
morning so different to when I arrived. Thank you again
