CeBIT Australia is Asia Pacific's largest business technology event returning to Darling Harbour in May, at the new International Convention Centre Sydney. CeBIT Australia will consist of a multi-zone trade exhibition of 350 stands, featuring new technologies from across the globe. The ultimate trans-Tasman battle culminates on 19 August, when the Qantas Wallabies face off against arch rivals the All Blacks to try to win back the Bledisloe Cup. To celebrate the annual battle, a week-long Sydney-based festival of rugby will include a lunch, golf day and Australian Turf Club event at Royal Randwick. Held since 1997, this free to the public exhibition captures the imagination of Sydney and its visitors for three weeks each spring and is the largest annual sculpture exhibition in the world. The popularity of the Bondi exhibition led to the creation of Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe in Perth on Australia’s Indian Ocean coast in March each year. Staged since 2005 the Cottesloe exhibition features over 70 sculptures and is enjoyed by 260,000 visitors, making the exhibition as much a part of Perth as the Bondi show is in Sydney.

Participants from maxi yachts to weekend racers take part in this event, which starts from Nielsen Park in Sydney Harbour and takes the international fleet 628 nautical miles to the finish line in the Derwent River, Hobart.

The Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that commemorates all who have served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. In Sydney, special events are held at Martin Place, which includes a Dawn Service Ceremony and March through the Sydney CBD and will involve approximately 20,000 veterans, current service men and women, police and relatives representing those who cannot be with us today.
